I really think we older wives all ought to write to Rosalynn Carter, and tell her we are a bit worried about "Jimmah". We could suggest that she take him to a good gerontologist, as he seems to be showing early signs of dementia.
We do this with a lot of sympathy, of course, as we all know how hard it can be for spouses to recognize the beginning signs, as they are too close to notice the changes since they are with them every day.
