"Chuck Hagel" wrong party, wrong values, pro-Tehran; he's truly an embarrassment as he sucks up to the MSM.

He doesn't need to invade Iran. All he needs to do is ship the captured IEDs to the Arab nationalists in the western Iranian provinces. And he can probably get the Iraqi Sunnis to do that even.

President Bush...proposed sending 21,500 more U.S. troops

to try to restore security nearly four years after the U.S.-led invasion.

Reuters has little faith in our troops....

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Democratic and Republican senators voiced strong concern on Thursday that the Iraq war could spread to neighboring Iran and Syria if the U.S. military were to chase militants across the border. "

Yup. So what's the point?

"I would pay good money to be able to pistol whip Chuck Hagel."

I would like to see Cindy Sheehan get slapped around by a few military moms.

Senators fear Iran, Syria

There, that's better.

No, it should read: Senators are cowards

Are they stupid? It's already been spread....it's just that we're not fighting back.

I think there must have been a deal made, early in the war, that the intervention in Iraq would not cross the borders. There was some talk in the Army about extending the invasion, that the action must be confined to Iraq. The problem is that it cannot.

What a passel of worthless God d*mn fools we have sucking up air and tax dollars in the Senate!

If we can't (or won't) do better than this cabal of fools, forget about Iraq. It's America that is toast!

There is no war first of all.

Thank you for stating this obvious but intentionally overlooked fact. It should be repeated over and over. We won the war in Iraq a long time ago. It was a brilliant victory, I might add.

The dems are making sure the terrorists have another Cambodia and Laos to hide in.

"If the president concluded he had to invade Iran ... or Syria in pursuit of these networks, I believe the present authorization granted the president to use force in Iraq does not cover that and he does need congressional authority to do that"

What was that law that Nixon quoted when he was defending the invasion of Cambodia? I remember it being about belligerents in wartime. I think it goes for the situation with Iran and Syria.
