actually, I'm pretty sure that Worf disgustedly dismissed the Kirk-era Klingons as a 'failed genetic experiment' in some episode when they used old footage for some "interaction."

And Mark Leonard is the only actor I can think of who played a Romulan, a Vulcan and a Klingon.
