I'm really, really concerned with the mechanism of enforcement of this bill, if passed.

you had it right the first time... with minimum wage increases more owners will have to do the work they can't afford to hire decent employees to do...

this occured with the invention of the replicator on star trek... all the restaurants closed and no one had to work because their food was always there... not only that, but replicating $20 and $100 became commonplace to the point where the minimum wage was 1245.00 an hour... no one needed to work. finally, they started shipping low life no working folks into space and eventually the replicators broke down and there were no repairmen to fix them... things started to get back to normal, but then some wise acre told the only working replicator to replicate itself and well, the rest is history.

"--"pi" as "three" would end a lot of confusion , also--"

While we're at it I think we should increase Angular Momentum... I'd like to see some of those ice skaters really get going when they tuck their arms inward. :P

So is the need for people to actually make enough money to feed, clothe, and house themselves.

You don't improve people's lives by making their jobs more expensive than those jobs are worth doing.
