Law enforcement agencies in Orange County are working with the federal government to deport illegal immigrants serving time in U.S. jails.
The news could mean as many as 11,000 illegal aliens could be handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.
Latino advocacy groups said the program contributes to the targeting and racial profiling of all persons who appear to be "illegal." Agents said that is not true because they are checking the immigration status of all inmates, not just those that appear "illegal."

Its all about numbers for them, because numbers equals power. Therefore, these professional ethnic grievance groups oppose the deportation of even those illegals who have committed additional crimes once coming here.

Let's do some quick math here....
Say (I am guessing) it costs $40k/yr per illegal alien times 11,000 illegal alien inmates. If my math is right that is $440 MILLION dollars per year.
Maybe Texas has it right - it is cheaper to give them in state college tuition and keep them there....
Somebody check my math on this, but this is insane why we keep illegal aliens at all.

We save 90% of the cost of housing them here, and we don't have them cross back over here in a few days after we deport them.

They'll fight tooth and nail to stay in American jails, where they enjoy a higher standard of living than they'd have on the Mexican economy.

How DARE they target "illegals".
Ummm, is EVERY hispanic in the US illegal?
No.
Soooooooo how can this be construed as racial profiling? Especially since hispanics come in a variety of races.
Let's conduct a sweep in a local bank lobby on Saturday morning... bring every patron downtown in a paddy wagon and weed out who's a bank robber and who's not.....LOL. Is that the Latino Advocacy "solution"?

excuse me, but it is NOT racial profiling. Just because most of them are from Latin American Countries, does not necessarilly mean they are racial profiling. Anyone of any background IN JAIL, and ILLEGALLY in this country must be targeted, and DEPORTED.

Perfect! We're able to devote more funds to deserving citizens and repatriate felons while Mexico thinks its getting what's nearest to it's heart: Extortion Money!
