The NRA is incumbent friendly. The group endorsed Harry Reid for re-election.

In the TX-22, the RAT candidate Nick Lampson did compile a satisfactory voting record for the NRA for 6 years when he was in that other Congressional district. But it makes no difference in 2008. Lampson going to be gone in 2008.

"Lampson going to be gone in 2008."

I'll certainly do my best to help kick Nick Lampson to the curb in 2008 where he belongs. My family lives in Texas CD-22 and 2008 can't come soon enough for us.

I've made it my mission over the next two years to contact Lampson's office when he ignores the will of the majority Republican residents of his district with offensive votes in the U.S. House.

I made my first call to his office this week to let his staff know how ashamed we are of him back in the district for voting Aye on HR 3 (stem cell bill).

We call him Nick "The Clapper" Lampson in emails to his office, i.e.,

LampsON (2006) - LampsOFF (2008)

I doubt that his staff finds that amusing. :-)
