This is the first time I've seen Nifong's Viet Nam status mentioned, but hey, I think it's the first time I've seen "conscientious objector" referenced as a DA's resume enhancer. But maybe nothing from The NYT should surprise us.
I knew the quote would jump out at you, and others as well.
