Bosnia-Herzegovina produces Haj movie
SARAJEVO, Jan 12 (KUNA) -- A documentary movie on Haj has been circulated in a ceremony here Friday, attended by a group of Bosnian pilgrims who have just returned from Haj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Deputy Chairman of the Bosnian Supreme Muslim Council Ismet Spahic told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) here that the film aimed to introduce holy sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to teach how to perform the blessed rituals of Haj.
The authority will distribute the movie among those Bosnians willing to travel to Makkah for pilgrimage in the future in order to be able to carry out Haj rituals in a correct and smooth manger, he said.
Produced in the local language, the film will enable Muslims in general to get acquainted with holy sites and the vicinity in Saudi Arabia, as well as the pilgrimage festival as a whole, Spahic added.
The fresh movie has capped joint efforts by media representatives and clergymen, he said, noting that the Supreme Muslim Council would present a program on the film and its contents ahead of distribution among Bosnians and other interested people. (end) yr.
Put on bedsheet, run around black rock, get trampled.
What jolly fun, that Hajj.
Perhaps one of our resident Dhimmis will stop by and tell us the one about how secular the Bosnian Muslims really are and...oh wait, that loser was banned.
Ok, then we'll have to settle for the other resident Dhimmi who will tell us the one about how such stories are simply the figment of Serbian imaginations. Nothing to see here, just move along.
How about "Bad Day At Black Rock"?
