They're both dishonest and malicious. Fitz knew at the very beginning who the "leaker" was....the REASON for his appointment, but he prolonged his 'investigation' (and his paycheck) by going off on this sham pursuit of anything, anyone to justify his staying on the payroll (and hopefully, getting into a dem administration imo).

Both are beneath contempt. I despise such people.

You know...not only did Fitz know...that they hid that fact from the POTUS...

IMHO...this whole thing was totally unnecessary.

If Pres. Bush had been told it was Armitage..he could have chosen to keep him on ...or fire him....but, at least he could have evaluated if there was a "crime" that needed discipline.

As it was, Bush had to go along with the whole dog and pony show.

I'm reading a book ["Triple Cross"] about Fitzpatrick. Actually it is about the WOT. His actions in the past in the SDNY as prosecutor make what he is doing now with Libby just a repeat of things he has done in the past. Some of the chapters in this book are about Fitzpatrick and they are not complimentary.
He belongs in a Democratic administration, he has all the qualifications to work for Clinton.
