Bayh was ok in the first term. Then he lost all crediblity when he cast NO votes against Rice, Patriot Act and everything else on NSA & judges.... list goes on. Kossacks won't let him for VP ticket if you read their comments.
I suspect the info in Bayh's family FBI files has a lot to do with his sudden anti-American stances.
Bayh had some other votes that were not okay. Like ANWR. I didn't think he was okay in the first term, he waffled around and people didn't pay attention. Said one thing and did the opposite. Sounded reasonable on TV but his votes weren't reasonable.
