I think he lives in California; they aren't allowed to carry guns unless the Sheriff says its ok and most won't.

I live in Maryland where the laws are similar, and I don't allow anybody to tell me whether or not I can defend my life. But I wasn't even talking about carrying; I was suggesting that if this wimp is afraid his wife is going to be attacked while he's out of town, which is what he stated in the article, then a gun solves that problem nicely.

To be honest I have zero sympathy for people who say they are afraid of this or that but then refuse to take the step necessary to rectify the situation. They're more scared of guns and political incorrectness than they are of the bad guys.

After reading this last night I started to wonder about the fact the writer said he was safe on the plane. Did he not call his wife ASAP and say a crazy rasti taxi driver just went off on me and he knows where we live? I didn't see where he said anything more then do we have to be afraid ,he knows where I live etc. I don't know how much I believe this story anymore..... He said I am safe on a plane....I would think if I was leaving my family home and a kook knew my address I would have dialed 911 and called home as soon as I got out of that taxi. I would have made sure my family was safe before I got on a plane.
