I didn't get that either. If an Israeli, Brit, or anybody else said they value the lives of their troops more than those of American civilians, I wouldn't say that's an anti-American attitude.
I wouldn't be offended if an Israeli valued the lives of other Isralis over those of Americans. That's just tribalism, not anti-anything.
