I was on the JFK in the '70's/ It would be impressive to see 3 carrier groups at once in the same area.

I wish my son would call me!!!!! He said he was having "fun" when he called last week. He was on shore leave somewhere over there for a couple of days. He said they were really busy these days.

I was at Norfolk in the 90's when the Stennis was new. There were 3 carriers in port, the Stennis, the Eisenhower, and another I can't recall. (I'm an army guy) It was quite impressive to see 3 carriers side by side in port, although they are much more useful at sea.
