LOL, your condescending attitude suggests that you are the one in need of maturity. You claimed you had something to defend here, instead you look down your nose at others. Sad.

You stated he was "my apparent candidate". In Post #79 I said

"I am not defending Rudy per se. But I am saying that compared to Hillary, that I would vote for Rudy. On a comparative basis he is a better choice. Of the three leading contenders for Republican nominee I am leaning towards Romney now from what I've read. I believe the nominee will be either McCain, Guiliani or Romney but we'll see. None of them are Reagan conservatives. But neither is Hillary."

So I clearly stated Guiliani was not my choice and that I am leaning towards Romney out of the three leading contenders. If you want to have rational dialogue with people you need to read and comprehend their posts and quit distorting people's positions.

...training Rudy on how to cloud men's minds so they forget every liberal thing Rudy's done in the past.

Yawn. If you want any kind of dialogue you need to step off your pedestal and talk rather than lecture. If I wanted lectures, I'd pay someone I had respect for and listen to them.

If you admit you were wrong in mischaracterizing my posts because of your lack of comprehension then perhaps I might consider continuing a dialogue with you. It might also help if you got down on your knees and begged for forgiveness and apologized by being such a jerk.

Me, mistaken? All the time. Error is my middle name. Rude appears to be yours. When I look for dialogue, manners matter. I will look elsewhere since you have evidenced none.

Post #122. There I clearly proved your mischaracterization of my posts. Admit your mistake, grovel and beg for forgiveness and I may speak to you. Maybe.

Try getting over yourself. Try hard. In the mean time post to people who respect you. Don't post to me. Thanks.

You need to read people's posts before shooting off your mouth. When a poster calls me a Guiliani supporter althoigh I have clearly stated the opposite I call them out on it in the spirit of instruction. See post #122.

Count me as an opponent of his potential GOP nomination.

"Giuliani Calls on Europeans to Stiffen Measures To Stiffen Hate Crimes"

Frankly, this is misguided. Rudy should know better.

I'm going to say something controversial, and I realize this post may be pulled.

Legislation and other public policies _against_ "hate crimes" are handing Europe to the Islamics, because such laws and policies make it impossible for white Europeans to fight back in any meaningful or useful manner.

The only way Christian/Europe is going to muster the will and intestinal fortitude to take appropriate action to drive out the Islamic hordes is with "hate".

"Hate" the way we "hated" the Japanese in World War II, and obliterated their cities, their women, their children (yes, we did that).

"Hate" the way we "hated" the Nazis in World War II, and pummelled their country into ruins.

You have to hate your enemies to build up the anger to do what's necessary to vanquish them. It's really that simple.

But because the white Europeans are so "civilized", they will literally put the handcuffs on their citizens and governments so that the Islamics _can't_ be "hated" and thus removed from those societies.

Conversely, Islamics have no problems whatsoever "hating" infidels: indeed, the exhotations to do so are written into the Quran, for them to follow.

Want to see "hate"? Wear a cross in the open in Saudi Arabia. They know what to do about that.

Until we are willing to take action as drastic against Islamics in Western society, they will continue to gain the upper hand, in the battle of civilizations.

Bump.

In a Giuliani presidency, those who agree with the president and his social liberal leanings will have nothing to fear.

Those who don't will find out quickly how Rudy won his reputation for ruthlessness as a prosecutor.

Gun owners and social conservatives will have much to be concerned about.

Bump.

In the wake of the Coulter/Edwards kerfuffle, it's time to mosey down Rudy's hate crime alley once again.
