Isn't that nice of the looney left to give the show all that free publicity! The show is more addictive than crack. The more they rant and rave, the more people will be drawn to it.

At least it's not some lame West Wing fantasy

Excellent point.

These idiots are more threatened by a TV program than real terrorists and their nuclear plots.

I think that this is because it's how the leftists deal with the world around them.

Perception is everything. Results mean nothing. As long as they mean well, and "try," then everything's OK, results be damned, even if the results make matters worse.

Kieffer Sutherland is the grandson of the founder of the NDP of Canada.

Are we supposed to abide the "wisdom" of some kid at CNN who hasn't started shaving?

His views on fantasy and reality are to be taken seriously?

If "24" is a "neocon sex fantasy", then a repeat of 9/11 must be a liberal sex fantasy.

Actually, according to jjmacwow in post 101, above, the tattoo is an image of Our Lady of Guadaloupe, and if you look closely at the image from the cover of Rolling Stone, link kindly furnished by coexerj145, you can sort of make her out, gazing downward at his left hand and surrounded by... I guess it's a wreath or something.

Anyway, okay.... problem solved - thank you all!

I knew this thread would be good when I clicked on it.

It was better than I thought.

...and West Wing is NOT a liberal fantasy?

Especially love the fantasy of the tree-hugging, liberal ECONOMIST, as president. LOL, would never happen in a MILLION years - knowing economists. DREAM about it, dems.

Kiefer is far to the left but unlike a lot in Hollyweird, he keeps his opinions mostly to himself.

You know, that's a good point.

I have friends who are lefties. They are dead wrong but they are still decent people. I'm not going to hate them because of their political opinions.

What happens with a lot of the loud lefties in Hollyweird, however, is they hate me because of my opinions and they cannot even articulate the reasons I hold them.

And I hold that against them big time.

That lacked much credibility with me, but, if the screenplay were half done by liberals, it may make some sense...actually I've never watched the show, so can't judge how well "balanced" it is - but the fact that Sutherland said that his views "tended" to be leftist raised a red flag - since most lefties seem to believe that everyone else thinks the same way they do (except for deranged conservatives of course), any leftist who actually recognizes that he is one must be pretty far out on the fringe in reality - that Sutherland apparently manages to keep his views so well under control does make me have more respect for his acting ability though.......
