what planet do you live on? it's impossible to report on every single human victim of crime, but there's certainly more than enough of it going on in the local print and electronic media. read the daily police blotters if you can't get enough. it's the animal abuse stories that get short shrift.
the same person who abused this puppy would do the same to his grandmother. these kinds of abusers see animals and humans along the same continuum. they "practice" on animals before "graduating" to human victims. if we can make penalties for abusing helpless animals approach that for abusing helpless children, then we would save many humans from being victimized in the future.
and to the 2 women who refused to help: you should go to jail until you tell us who the criminal is...

If this story does not break your heart and make you feel sick to your stomach .....and if you can joke about it then you are an awful person. This guy is a disgusting and despicable human being who does not deserve to live. THIS GUY WILL DO THIS TO MORE ANIMALS, CHILDREN (possibly babies or infants they are as helpless as animals), WOMEN and MEN. He needs to be caught and punished. I hope that the same thing happens to him in jail with a sharp object.
