you're right...definitely a mix...the head is much to narrow...but people see a brindle these days and scream pit bull.

I thought the length of the nose was a telling point, but it could easily be a pit mix, we used to have a pit shar pai mix, wrinkled up head, but apparently shar pais do not come in black. Regardless, hope they catch the guy.
