I have close up experience in the way the county government and law enforcement handle illegals.
There is definitely a double standard applied when police stop American citizens vs. illegal aliens.
There is a double standard applied by the County schools too.
The laws on the books are not enforced. In fact they go out of their way to make the illegal alien comfortable...and I'm not speaking about constructing day laborer shelters, either.
I had the teenaged son of an illegal deliver flyers door to door one Summer for a couple of hours a day.
I sold a home to his parents. They were given a mortgage by a legitimate mortage banker and provided no false documentation. Go figure.
One of the general contractors that do work on my listings has several painting crews...nobody speaks English.
They show up every day...sober...and work their asses off. They get paid well above the minimum wage and they are trustworthy and happy. I know them and their families.
I would trust them babysitting my grandchildren before I would let you babysit them.
When my government applies the law, then perhaps so will the companies that employ them.
They enforce the immigration laws exactly like they enforce the 55 mph speed limit on the expressway.

I invite you to investigate the breakdown of nationalities of the citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland today vs. 15 years ago. You would be shocked to see the numbers.
There is no way there are only 12 million illegal aliens in the United States. More like 25 million.
