When he does fly solo its seldom in uniform, and more often in model poses that end up in style magazines, like his print ad for upscale watch maker Movado. heh.

I don't care so much about Manning or Brady, but I'm really tired of the Eagles QB mother soup commercials........

I appreciate the "humble-folksy" humor of the Manning commercials. And he's certainly earned the right to
go head to head with Tom this weekend.

Brady believes in the old adage that "When you've REALLY arrived, you don't need to shout about it".

My prediction is that Peyton will once again have plenty of time to shoot a new series of commercials come Monday.

I like the Manning advertisements, unlike the incredibly annoying ads by the Duke basketball coach (I shall not speak the name of the pompous ass) during the NCAA tournament.

A pox on both their houses....but it's always amusing to watch the NFL spend untold millions on "good guy" PR and advertising when a large percentage of their players are running afoul of the law.

Little known fact for you Patriot fans...Manning gives the money he makes from these "overexposed" commercials to charities.

ever since Manning's comment on his (very sizeable)NFL salary agreement, I have been a fan.
Some reporter asked him "What are you going to do now that you have a contract for 817 gazillion dollars?" Peyton's reply was "Earn it."
You gotta have respect for a classy guy like that.

I don't remember this topic coming up when Brady was shilling for VISA.

Peyton has the sense of humor that Archie developed. There was no color commentator who was funnier. When he was calling games for the Saints, you automatically muted the TV and cranked up the radio.

Hes always had more name recognition . . . and advertisers always liked that. And besides that, I've seen cabbage heads with more personality than Brady.
