I learned to drive my parent's vw beetle (in Austin, TX) when I was 5-ish. I used to drive my younger brother and his friends around the neighborhood. I also learned to push-start the car. You just have to be tall enough and get a little experience. I told my kids, they didn't believe me and called grandma to confirm I was fibbing - she confirmed I was driving. So I can believe this.....

Poor guy, wonder why he wants to get back to texas so badly - family?
