Your posts reek of anti-Christian bigotry.

The founders of the US did not think God belonged only in the hidden places you suggest. They premised their hopes for the republic entirely on reliance on Him, and in the public square at that. They knew that without Him, their best efforts were useless.

My homepage here lists all of the preambles to the state constitutions, and each and every one says exactly that.

Here's a clue for you.

God is God.

He ain't a Christian, a Jew or a Muslim, not to mention Hindi.

You are the bigot.

Actually they were secular humanist elightenment skeptics to a man, the founders were, except for Hamilton, who vacillated. Religion to them was like fire: it had benefits to the public square, but dangerous, and needed a fire company to keep it in check. Read the Moral Minority and get back to me with your thoughts. I found the founders from reading it, that the founders were entirely kindred spirits to moi. :)

Your replies reek of wilfull denial of facts to further your cultish pimping for a fraud.

So, I took a deep breath and read your page and wish to remind you that all (all) of the states, except for Massachusetts are grateful to God while the wise old men of Massachusetts demoted Him to:

* Massachusetts 1780, Preamble. "We...the people of Massachusetts, acknowledging with grateful hearts, the goodness of the Great Legislator of the Universe... in the course of His Providence, an opportunity and devoutly imploring His direction..."

What you still don't see is that none (none) of the States refer to Christianity.

You see, they did know what they were doing. You just like your translation better. So, listen and learn to fold 'em when you're stuck on stupid.

I would almost feel sorry for you if you had any redeeming qualities.
