I've been to New Jersey. Driven through it. Yes, its not bad. In some places, may be even considered beautiful. But ... nothing compared to the gorgeous landscape vistas of the Western US. States like Colorado, Oregon, Utah blow away NJ in natural beauty. No contest.
I don't disagree with you....
My point is that every state has some great things going for it and every state has some problems. To say any state is totally good or totally bad, is simply ridiculous.
It gets kind of annoying reading these childish "your state sucks" posts. I have been in almost every state in the nation and every one of them has their own dirty laundry.
This is my New Jersey. 30,000 parkland acres of near continuous forested rolling hills
and lakes, on the NY border with another 30,000+ acres of state parkland.
These 200,000+ acres alone in North Jersey and adjoining New York State have more visitors yearly
than every national park west of the Mississippi river combined.
If you can afford it, it's a great place to live.
