Why he ran is not the issue, unless you're willing to concede psychic powers of Border Patrol agents.
The issue is that the agent decided to use lethal force before he knew - then worked to cover it up with lies.
If you want to grant law enforcement officers the authority to shoot ANYONE in the back who is fleeing, feel free to start a movement. As much admiration as I have for law enforcement, I don't think I'll sign that petition.
