The 52 American hostages held at the US embassy in Tehran for more than 14 months have arrived in West Germany on their way home to the United States.

The former diplomats and embassy staff stepped from the plane onto the tarmac at Wiesbaden airport looking tired but elated after their 4,000-mile (6,437km) flight from Iran.

Some waved to the crowd of well-wishers who had gathered, others gave the V-for-victory sign.

Iran finally agreed to release the hostages after the US said it would release assets frozen in American and other banks, including the Bank of England, since the embassy was seized.

Wasn't that because of the deal arranged by incoming Vice President George H. W. Bush when he flew to Paris as a passenger on a SR-71 one weekend during the 1980 campaign?

And one of the participants in that kidnapping, the current President of Iran, was in NYC last year for the Useless Nations meeting. Why wasn`t he arrested like the bug that he is instead of being given a police escort from the airport and generally having his arse kissed? Oh but that would have caused an "International crisis" and we don`t want liberals and Muzzies to get mad at us.

As another MD lottery oddity, the pick 3 was 911 the day Len Bias died.

Part of the Carter Legacy.

But never forget- Americans elected that guy. People on FR like to completely dump on Europeans if they even hear ONE person in a European prison say something that can even be construed as anti-American. The logic goes- if that one low life in prison thinks America is less than great, then ALL Europeans are bad and anti-American.

Let's face it. Nobody is more anti-American than Americans themselves. Over time, Americans have chosen some of the most anti-American people out there to be their leaders. And those leaders stand for all Americans. Bill Clinton. Hillary. Nancy Pelosi. No European America haters or Islamists put these people in power. Americans did it.

I think we should nuke Iran right now. But this isn't just 'the Carter legacy'. It's what the American people themselves asked for. And what we will ask for again and again and again. America hates itself.

Jimmy Carter keeps adding to The Carter Legacy even today with his ridiculous statements.

And the American people keep adding to theirs by allowing people like Nancy Pelosi to be in charge of things. If it weren't for the American people men like Clinton, Carter and Pelosi wouldn't be possible.
