Yes, if the Hispanic is a Democrat. That trumps everything else. The Blacks vote for Dem Hispanics all the time here in California.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but the only conclusion I can draw when whole racial/ethnic groups go for the Dems at reliable 90% clips over and over and over again is that they are Socialists, and their ideology trumps everything else.

That being said, there isn't any specific classification, like with White-Black mix that I know of. Now I haven't heard the word mulatto used much since way 'back when' those like Jesse jacka$$ started with 'Black Power' stuff, or the 'One Drop Rule' to get the benefits of LBJ's goodie handout. But it wasn't a pejorative. And there was no 'warning' in the dictionary as it being offensive, like with some words of 'old times'.
(hmmm, how come 'Mexicans', born in Nicaragua stay 'Mexican' but Mexicans born in the US don't???)
If W succeeds in legalizing illegals, their numbers in Texas alone will deliver this state to the dems - forever. Republicans will become a permanent minority party.
