If it takes them 800 years, they will do the same to NY and DC. We must eliminate them first, something the Byzantines were not capable of doing, but we could in a heartbeat.
But you won't find any Hollywood movies about the attack and slaughter at Ceaseria. Nor even the Moslems sacking the Vatican in 864........hell, most people don't even know that happened. Funny, how Hollywood will make movies about the Crusades and anybody wearing a red cross is the embodiment of all evil.
Of course the 4th Crusade sacking of Constantinople certainly hastened its decline.
The loss of the secret of creating "Greek Fire" didn't help either. Before losing the recipe, the Byzantines annihilated HORDES of muslim scum (both on land and on the sea). But yeah, the 4th Crusade was the final nail in Byzantium's coffin.
I'm sure it hurt things a lot, but that relieves the Muslims of none of their guilt in the matter. Its just an attempt to change the subject.
