Surges take awhile when we are on the other side of the Globe...sides Congress is trying to decide if they like it...

(America will be a hyperpower that's all hype and no power -- if we do not prevail in Iraq)

It seems to me with the increase in contact with the enemy that the surge is already on. We cannot afford to wait for them to come to us, we must take the fight to them. We must win every street every alley every house and we must do it with extreme aggression. It is not in our interest to announce the beginning of every new phase. It is in our interest that when it is over the results are clear. As we ramp up the hostilities towards the enemy there are going to be more and more stories like this one. Our job here at home is to remain steadfast in our support of the mission and the CIC. This is a battle that will not be won overnight. The generals are saying maybe by the end of the summer. I believe this war is about to get a lot nastier than it has ever been. We must remain strong, and we must keep the pressure on our "representatives" in congress to shut the hell up.
