Hunter, though, faces strong competition for the conservative vote from the only other Republican officeholder who is an official presidential candidate: Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback, who received a 100 percent score from The American Conservative Union in 2005. Where is Brownback on the war and on the reinforcements to Iraq? I received a fund-raising e-mail from his campaign yesterday and any mention of that topic was absent....

There was an article by some professor on Brownback yesterday. It was very unflattering and gave some details of his votes and policies.
It apparently has been pulled.

I reckon Sam's trying not to alienate the anti-war paleo-cons who are also on his list.
I must admit, I think Sam would be a formidable candidate if not for his stand on amnesty for illegals. That's the poison pill for him.

( Rudy McRomney as the GOP nominee = President Hillary. Why else do you think the media loves them?)

From that Brownback article that got pulled [Google is amazing at archiving modern life]:
Sen. Brownback has a horrendous record on immigration. He is about two miles to the Left of most Democrats on this issue. Americans for Better Immigration gives him a overall grade of D. On reducing chain migration, he receives an F-; on reducing visa lotteries, F-; on reducing unnecessary visas, F-; and on reducing amnesties, F.
