I heard that, too.....it's 9000 a year......maybe it is true, since it says "killed", not murdered.....including driving related deaths as well as some other categories might easily reach that number

That's the most likely explanation. In any case those deaths wouldn't happen if those people weren't here.

Might be close if you count auto accidents, and gang deaths.
