A vote for Rudy Giuliani is a vote for a liberal.

"...don't know any conservative cross-dressers.Did you see the 1959 movie "Some Like It Hot"? Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis were in and out of drag the whole movie.
1959 was prime-time wholesome America. The movie was a big hit.
50 years ago, people could see the difference between dressing for entertainment and a real deviant.

I wasn't referring to all of you but only to the BSU person. They have been on our message boards since the game and they all support Romney. If you can tell me why they go on a football message board and reference Romney, I would like to know because I don't see the correlation.

You can hold your breath until you turn blue, but you aren't going to get the president you dream of............EVER! Even Ronald Reagan falls FAR short of your desires.

Aside from the health, Haliburton and being too closely linked to Bush, Cheney would be great.
We have time (need cash!) to get hunter more tv face time.

You point out something I have been considering for awhile. Do you ever run into politicians either conseravtive of liberal that ypou find fundamentally inauthentic?...You wonde if they are committed to any idea in particular of are they instently malleable to changing circumstance. I find them in Both parties...
Chief among the inauthentic is Hillary.
Among the conseravtives there was a guy from Buffalo, Bill Paxon, I don't think he believed in anything beyond Paxon. T
John Edwards is stunningly inauthentic to me....

All the negativity is shocking, here. If all of the "nattering nabobs" would look outward instead of inward, we could have a useful, healthy debate and an interesting, engaging Republican primary.
But complaining is, well, easier than actually getting involved and helping out the GOP.
I "Joined Rudy" a few minutes ago. FWIW.

Ah, I see. My apologies.

A vote for Rudy Giuliani is a vote for a liberal. I heard someone say "The lesser of two liberals". It would take very little for Richardson to stomp Rudy in the middle ground voter category. Richardson is the threat, not Hillary or big-ears.

Looking at all the data and the polls, it doesn't look good for us in '08.
There are many here running amok with their pet causes but they don't realize that we are headed for certain disaster if we don't win. These long-shot candidates, be they third party, etc,, who are unelectable are still doing what they have always done; NOTHING.
Thank God we still have some time and the primaries will silence some of the rhetoric. But I wish these people would realize that the Democrats have it figured out. The will cater to the middle, independent moderates and win because of it. We would be fools to not do the same.
We can regain conservative positions after we salvage control of this government. But to get back to that position, we have to win any way possible.

It certainly looked like the "general we".
Unless there's some special BSU event in 2008....

Well....Rudy will take the nomination...He has the naame, the money, and the status. McCain is over the hill. Mitt is trying to be everyone's everything. It will kill his chances.
Everyone else is an also ran...
