My point in posting the pics, was to show people that the Iranian regime is using them and Kerry's words.
They do this every time a U.S. politician or celebrity speaks against Pres. Bush's policies in the middle east or WOT.

The worst and long lasting consequence of the Vietnam war is that it has legitimized treason and providing aid and comfort to the enemy.
Why was Khatami allowed......?
The general opinion is that he is/was being considered as a candidate for a government in exile or as a replacement for Ahmadi-Nejad in the event that we "disrupt" Iran seriously and need to put someone in place to avoid transitional chaos.
As happened when Khomeini took over after the Shah's government collapsed and stole the Soviet backed revolution out of the mouth of the MEK (Marxist-Islamist Mojaheddin) by having the only viable and still operational national network in place - thousands of Mosques.
We fear that this time the reverse might happen and the MEK could move in and take over within the ensuing chaos we create by removing Ahamdi-Nejad. The alternative, Rafsanjani has too much personal baggage and blood directly on his hands to be very appealing.
As if any of them are truly apealing anyway. Sort of "best" of a very bad lot.
