I rather liked Indianapolis and Indiana (with the exception of Gary). Good universities, lots of conservative Republicans, and the south of the state has beautiful scenery.

Indiana sucks. Hands down the ugliest state in the Union. Obviously you've never been to Delaware. What it lacks in size it makes up for in industrial sprawl.
That said, I have been to Ft. Wayne, and all I can say is that it makes Indy look like Paris.

I live down on the Ohio, near Kentucky, and seeing the leaves change in the fall around here is like nothing else.
