I agree. It's politics.

Agreed; the smartest thing a GOP contender could do these days is distance themselves from Bush (even brother Jeb has done it and he's not running).

This article today on National Review online:

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=OWQ1MDQ1YmM0NjIyYzM0YmFhZGM5Y2E4ZDZjMzQxMjk=

Note that Huckster refers to the Club for Growth as the Club for Greed.

What a jackass.

I have always feared that the Dems would nominate a populist but left-leaning economic candidate and that would destroy the GOP. I guess I never thought that the GOP would have a contender who would play class warfare and be socially conservative.

We have had far too many Republicans who don’t understand capitalism. Huckster is one too many. We need to bury this guy, fast.

What an ass. One thing you can't take away from Bush is that he has fatally wounded his presidency by trying to play nice with the dems.

Huckabee is like a liberal's caricature of the "Christian" politician, spouting his good Bible learnin' and the yokels eat it up and vote for him because he goes to church. Forget that his stances are completely opposed to conservative principles.

Then again, maybe he's using the Jedi mind trick.
