My absolute favorite fruit is the New Zealand Braeburn apple. The U.S. Washington Braeburn doesn't even compare. I live for springtime when the harvest starts to show up here in Wisconsin.

From what I understand, New Zealand has one of the most fertile soils on the planet and is loaded with nutrients. Hence the very healthy and delicious produce.

Someone needs to stomp on this organization and tell them to leave what nature produces alone. Many of us already cut our fruit in half to reduce the servings size.

In India, we get apples from the US (Washington brand, mostly, and a few others), Australia and New Zealand.

I've personally found the ones from New Zealand and Australia(especially the Crane brand of apples) having a more richer flavour. The Washington ones taste sort of bland, in comparison.
