I guess they don't believe that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Thats very true.
I notice that all ethnic groups out here in California imitate black styles,and often not very WELL.Yet the perception is that the hippest folks are the black kids and to be accepted by them is the ultimate compliment.This goes for Asians and Latinos as well,despite the animosity between these different groups.
