Apparently, cosmetic surgery for Chinese customers is so booming that some hospitals feature Chinese section. Others set up branch hospitals in China's big city.
A majority of local medical talents are going into this field, turning cosmetic surgery into a monolithic money-maker in local medical profession. We would have overinvestment pretty soon.

Reminds me of comedian Emo Philips' quip that he loaned a friend $50,000 for cosmetic surgery and now he can't find the person to make him pay it back.

If this problem occurs with any regularity, I would think a simple solution would be to allow citizens who are leaving the country for a face lift to put their fingerprints on file with the immigration people, and then have their fingerprints checked on their return.
