Two Senior Iraqi Generals Eyed in Brazen Attack on U.S. Soldiers (Possible Traitors)

Two senior Iraqi generals are being questioned in last week's attack in Karbala, in which 5 U.S. soldiers were killed, the Pentagon told FOX News.

Because of the sophistication of the attack — where militants poses as U.S. soldiers attacked a meeting of U.S. and Iraqi soldiers — Iran was suspected of being involved, Pentagon officials said.

The assault was conducted by nine to 12 militants posing as an American security team. They traveled in black GMC Suburban vehicles — the type used by U.S. government convoys — had American weapons, wore new U.S. military combat fatigues and spoke English.

The raid, as explained by Iraqi and American officials, began after nightfall at about 6 p.m. on Jan. 20, while American military officers were meeting with their Iraqi counterparts on the main floor of the Provisional Joint Coordination Center (PJCC) in Karbala.

The Pentagon said the investigation into the attack is ongoing and several Iraqis have been detained for questioning.

Because high-level generals were possibly involved, the Pentagon said, it raises questions about the loyalty and trustworthiness of Iraqi military officers at the highest levels.

I suspect there are traitors embedded in the government, just as we have the "terrorist sympathizers" and "treasonous citizens" embedded in our own government....those who have their agenda, and will do whatever the moonbats and lunatics think will show the "evilness" and "America is an international pariah".....

I believe they were recovered and the claim was that they were stolen from Iraqi Government Officials. I'll try to find exactly what I heard about that earlier.

Because high-level generals were possibly involved, the Pentagon said, it raises questions about the loyalty and trustworthiness of Iraqi military officers at the highest levels.

Senior level generals means they were Generals for Saddam, too. ALL those types should have been purged at the outset and the folks at least two levels down promoted into their slots. General Officers...generally speaking...are specifically political A$$ Kissers. While Colonels have stars in their eyes, those already saddled with stars are now looking for that nice cushy retirement job. Iraqis are no different. At that level they're looking to serve the NEXT boss. Their fate should mirror Saddam's. Except that instead of the rope they should face a firing squad.

You're absolutely right. Most of the senior officers held those roles in the Iraqi army under Saddam. The country doesn't have an officer corp at hand unpolluted by the Baathists regime.

Shoot at dawn sounds appropriate.

Let the buddies of the five American soldiers murdered decide what to do with the Generals.

I have a feeling the outcome will be quite satisfactory!
