Arizona State University placed a resident assistant on probation four days after he objected to a diversity training exercise that he said reinforced negative stereotypes and portrayed Christians as hateful and narrow-minded.
TOPICS: Culture/Society; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: gay; liberalism; pc; sensitivitytraining
This is an update to a story I posted last week about a student who refused to participate in a sensitivity training role playing game. He was assigned the role of a gay hipanic who was trying to join a church only to be rebuffed by "closed minded" Christians. When are they going to make liberals take senitivity or diversity training to make learn how to accept conservative thinkers? Imagine if one of them was asked to play the role of a pro-life Christian trying to join the Democratic Underground?

"un-freakin' real."
The very definition of the liberal mindset.

In a compulsory program, they use stereotypes to teach him not to use stereotypes and he gets disciplined for pointing out the obvious.

RA's have for the past 20 years at every major university had as their first job to be diversity stormtroopers. Quite frightening, actually.

I've met some serious bigots in my life. One of the worst was a diversity instructor whose class we were compelled to attend in the early 90's. In my course evaluation I told him that the only racist in the room was him.
