Well to be fair, I was talking about the opinions of the right and whether we feel that way or not. I think if you look around FR you'll see that objection is mentioned often. It may be erroneous, but it's still the commonly held view. It may just be consensus on our part, but since we're not talking about scientific conclusions which can be addressed with evidence, and just talking about the perceived credibility of opinions being offered, I think it's still a valid point.
Besides, in my opinion, the best you can hope for by claiming the ice age hyperbole is a falsehood is to get me to look at the global warming data with an open mind which I've already committed to doing.
