Oops, this was probably a tactical error on Exxon-Mobile's part.

Ten grand is like taking candy from a baby when it comes to a summary of a report that is based in stupidity of global proportions...

Of course, considering all the millions in grant monies that will only get awarded to you if you say that you're going to do research to PROVE global warming...
To: amchugh
Oh sure. $10,000 is going to buy a lot of people with million dollar educations and tenure in Colleges and Universities. Whoever concocted this story is probably alternating between McDonells, and some technical institute.

The eco-kook scientists get their funding from agenda driven organizations.
Exxon should have its auditors check and see how much the hard-core leftists at the Ford Foundation have paid for global warming studies.

And how many millions are they getting in grants to continue studying global warming? Would that grant money dry up if global warming didn't exist?
$10,000 is chump change.

Because scientists are offered money by the Global Warming crowd to do research showing THAT is happening. God forbid that the oil companies should also fund research.

Would that grant money dry up if global warming didn't exist? This has already been demonstrated not to be the case.

This has already been demonstrated not to be the case. Really? How so? I don't see a lot of continuing grant money to look into researching non-threatening issues. It seems logical that any research that concludes "nothing to worry about here" is a dead end for grant money.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying that global warming doesn't exist (in the context of man made). And lo, the grant money has not dried up.
I'm not disagreeing except to say your understating the case against this nonsense.

I wonder what caused the warming in the last TWO ice ages before man was around?.
