It was one of the old prototypes I had when I worked on the others, I just uploaded it (and another one that isn't as flashy) today. :')

They should study the 2000 year old domesticated grape vines being discovered under the receding ice in Greenland
Is there a topic or other link on that?

We can all take comfort in the fact that despite global warming [fact or fiction] eventually all LIVING things DIE.
That includes planet earth, our sun and with it our Solar System, the Milky Way Galaxy and eventually the UNIVERSE.
So, whether you drive your cars and use all the fossil fuel the earth has to offer, or make a car that runs on water, and pollutant free, in the end it doesn't matter one iota.

I thought that since hollywood is telling us that we all can do little things that when they add up-they become real big things, so...
Why doesn't every American drop one ice cube into a stream or river near them, and we could fix this evil GW thing. School kids could get involved and make field trips out of it and stuff. One Cube at a Time-there is a song there somewhere.....

"From a bygone era when reasoned scientific analysis held sway:"
In 1705 Michael Mieth explained it [the burning of gunpowder] in his at that time much cited works as follows:
The saltpeter is the Regent in powder; it is the effectuant; its nature is cold. Nevertheless there is a fire imprisoned in it, it is not, however, in its natural place. This fire is strengthened and increased through the admixture of sulfur in the correct proportion; however, by an excess of sulfur it is smothered, steamed over and decreased. These two opposites: heat and cold, fire and water are held together by charcoal. On ignition, these are immediately transmuted into corporeal air which forcefully seeks the outlet.
I love the bygone eras of scientific analysis. What really warms my heart is the thought of our own BS being quoted and laughed to shreds in the not-too-distant future.

How about rather than "combatting global warming", we change the wording to "save a few bucks a year".
It makes more sense, as flourescent bulbs DO use less power per lumen, and cell phone chargers DO continue to use over 95% of their rated power when not attached to a cellphone.
The enviro-weenies have prevented how many new power projects that could have eased our current shortfalls? Yet some folks try to use EXACTLY the same tactics to try and discredit the FEW reasonable compromises available.
Don't be a pawn of the radical scheisskopfs. THINK and then ACT. Don't knee-jerk that if they say it it MUST be wrong. There's a hint of sense in there sometimes.
Oh, and it's spelled farce.
