So trajic.....many many birds were lost from all the hurricanes too.......Florida lost almost a 1/3 of all trees.

If this statement means Florida lost a third of all its trees to hurricanes I find that hard to comprehend. I live in Florida and outside the areas actually hit by the storms there are still as many trees as ever.

Maybe I misunderstood the statement?
