MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C.

Quick question about Edwards: Do I have the summary of his experience correct: He was a practicing attorney and a one-term Senator?

Thanks.

Chris Wallace called Graham Bush's biggest vocal supporter.

On troop level increase, he is. Besides, self-interest, ofcourse.

Shortly I'll be gone. After Mass I've got to take my son over to the Methodist church for "Scout Sunday". Then we have to get ready for our kid's "Super Bowl Party" we're hosting.

Thanks! It is telling that the Washington Post would write anything mildly critical. Too bad they missed Hillary saying she's a moderate. Hillary could only be considered moderate if she's being compared to Karl Marx.

Amanda Marcotte of Pandagon

Her pic alone makes one think she's a real blast to be around. I checked one of her blog entries, just to get an idea of what she's about. I'm sure most have seen the Burger King commercial where the guy walks out of the resturaunt, frustrated with eating "chick food." Ms. Marcotte turns an otherwise humorous jab at masculine/feminine differences and turns it into a screed on chauvinism, vegetarianism, big business and global warming. She's got to be as bitter on the inside as she looks on the outside.

Then there is another one - The First Blog Scandal Of Campaign 2008

Some of those blogs out there remind me of a soap opera .. and you can bet the government will clamp down on them sooner or later

In fact .. Feingold/McCain are playing around with the rules again

Our purpose is simple--to pass legislation that will do what the FEC could and should do under current law, but, once again, has failed to do. Current Federal election law requires these groups to register as political committees and to stop raising and spending soft money. But the FEC has failed to enforce the law, so we must act in the Congress. This bill will make it absolutely clear that the federal election laws apply to 527 organizations

Edwards explaining his vote for the war. Says he didn't know Bush would be as incompetent as he was in the administration of the war.

Timmy is using his "soft" voice on Edwards. Very sympathetic tone.

He (barely) touched upon the fact the Clinton Administration intelligence told us the same thing about WMDs. The "Bush tricked us" defense won't work here.

Edwards says he consulted former Clinton administration people and he got the same info from them on the threat from Iraq.

Taking a little poke at Hillary! there.

I know a few Democrats who own oil company stock. They are not very happy at the moment with her comments.

I wish Wallace would ask Webb what he would negotiate away in talks with Iran and Syria.

Someone should make these idiots do more than complain.

Binky Edwards is on MTP.

[It would be interesting to see a blink count comparison between Pelosi and Edwards.]

We are also priviledged! Lindsay Graham AND John McCain on the same weekend. Don't we feel honored. {lol}
