Edwards just used his wife's cancer as a reason that he said in 2004 that it was a good vote to go to war!!!

The war started in March 2003; I don't think Elizabeth was diagnosed until a considerable period of time after that.

And I think the vote came in late 2002.

What he was referring to today was when he was asked in 2004, during the POTUS campaign if he regretted his vote to go to Iraq.

Timmy showed a video of him saying that "NO..he doesn't regret that vote in 2002, that Saddam still needed to be taken out"..

When Timmy asked him today...if he regretted what he said in 2004...Edwards said today..that at the time of that video, the campaign was crazy, plus his wife had cancer so he can't be held responsible for that response.
