I just cannot believe this is happening. The power had gone off in the Charleston area. My aunt had a propane heater, but she wasn't able to get it lit. So she lit a candle and caught her clothes on fire. She was able to douse the flames in the bathtub. She then got into bed.

Oh, that poor woman. Your poor family. Prayers going up right now for all of you.

Unto You, O Lord, we give glory, honor, and praise, for You are our Advocate before the Throne of Grace, ever interceding for Your children. Heart's beloved Aunt has been grievously injured, and only You know the depth of her needs. Into Your loving hands we commit her and her family ... look with mercy upon them, Heavenly Father. Hold back the pain and suffering while her burns are being treated ... spare her, we pray, from the most severe degree of burn. Protect her vital functions throughout the night, that she might gain strength for tomorrow. Thank You for her presence of mind and for the the help of her children. Do not let further sorrow overtake Heart's mother ... be the strength that each one needs in this hour. Have mercy, Lord, have mercy, in the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...
