Theron slammed what she said was the lack of freedom in the United States.

Usually people this stupid have never been to a Communist country.

Or they've been but only go where their handlers take them. And then proclaim the people really are free.

Like my stupid BIL. My stupid, college-educated, BIL.

"THERON: No, but I do remember not too long ago some people getting fired from their jobs in television because they spoke up on how they felt about the war." Examples, please. I use to work in television and it was us conservatives who had to keep our mouths shut. I can't begin to tell you the crap I heard (often from yelling) coming out of the mouths from the higher ups I worked with. It was disgusting. I recall a black, female executive producer who found out I was conservative and she just wouldn't let up on me. I remember reading an article about one of the leads (don't remember) on one of the Law & Orders who said no Republicans were allowed on the set. I would love to know which Democrats were fired from shows for speaking their mind.

I really wish I hadn't read this. I could have lived out my life in the happy delusion that she was a gun toting, America loving, super-babe with a thing for dumpy guys that spend too much time on the internet and who only didn't love me because we she doesn't know about FR yet. Dang it!

"conservative on tv"

I remember reading an article a few years back (can't remember the writer) who claimed that much of the tv and film crews in Hollyweird were conservatives while most of the cast and management were libs. In your opinion true or false? I know California has that rep for being super lib, but Republican candidates still get over forty percent of the vote in major elections. So there has to be more than a few conservatives in the tv/film industry I would guess.

Yes, there are conservatives in Hollywood - many are on the crew. They are the ones who can only afford to live outside of LA (if they have a family) and have the long commute from places like Palmdale, etc. because they can't afford to live in LA. But, I can't really gauge how many because they are all union, yet, this is something that can't be avoided in many aspects of the business. We do find our own - the show with the black socialist female producer I spoke about also had another exec. producer who is a staunch conservative, as were several of the cast members.

Sorry JoeSixPack1. I'm just tired reading posts by people who say healthy looking women aren't fat enough for them. Keep your fat preference in women to yourself next time.

Take some of your own advice there pal and keep your ideas of skinny and sleazy to yourself.

Theron is a bag of bones. You don't agree, I don't care.
