CNN's Rick Sanchez -- of Miami WSVN fame -- got a proposal of a lifetime Sunday from Oscar-winning Hollywood hottie Charlize Theron.
During an interview to discuss her new documentary about Cuban rappers, East of Havana, the South African actor looked right at the camera and said: ``I want to make out with you right now.''
But her shocking proclamation was not so much a come-on as a ploy to turn the corner on an interview that was going downhill fast. As Sanchez put it: ``a way for a beautiful woman to get a guy to change the subject.''
When the Cuban American Sanchez asked about the lack of freedom on the island, Theron slammed what she said was the lack of freedom in the United States.

She should be deported to South Africa via Zimbabwe to see who real lack of freedom is and what is becoming of her homeland.
You just reminded me with this article about an Andy Garcia film I wanted to see that dared criticized the pig and the psychotic (Fidel and Che) and I just found it at the library, "The Lost City." Hollywood did all it could to keep it from being adequately marketed and hoping it would quickly go away (it never did play in my city). I would urge all FReepers to go and check it out.

The day I saw her crying tears of joy about how wonderful Nelson Mandela was, is the day I lost all respect for her. She is just piling on now. How sad these Hollywood people are, not to mention dangerous.

Typical. Any time a liberal faces any kind of consequences for shouting their opinion, even if it's just being shunned by those who disagree, they scream their heads off that they are being censored, oppressed, and blacklisted. But they don't bat an eye about people rotting in Cuban prisons.

And,,, you're displaying the same amount of intelligence Charlize did in comparing Cuba's freedom to that of the US.
So whether you want to imagine me as having 8 pack abs, or a beer gut (which is wrong on both accounts), it doesn't change my opinion of Theron.

I've known she was a loony leftist for years, even though I've never seen one of her movies. I don't intend to, either. I don't even see her physical beauty. Liberal America-hating makes her ugly from the inside out.
