Is she batty? I am guessing she has a bumper sticker that reads "Peace is Patriotic" or the ever popular "No One Died when Clinton Lied."

Even if there were no freedom in the US, what the hell does that have to do with the lack of freedom in Cuba?

I guess the human brain has no room for both liberal and logic.

Theron slammed what she said was the lack of freedom in the United States

Beauty, but no brains.

What a shame about the AFRIKANER ACTRESS!

She should be deported to South Africa via Zimbabwe to see who real lack of freedom is and what is becoming of her homeland.

You just reminded me with this article about an Andy Garcia film I wanted to see that dared criticized the pig and the psychotic (Fidel and Che) and I just found it at the library, "The Lost City." Hollywood did all it could to keep it from being adequately marketed and hoping it would quickly go away (it never did play in my city). I would urge all FReepers to go and check it out.

Yes, when in doubt, slam the USA as a default position.

Another bubble-headed Hollywood idiot.

Just a typical Hollywood airhead. If you think she's looney over Castro's Cuba, you should have seen her waxing gaga over Nelson Mandela a few years ago.

Typical. Any time a liberal faces any kind of consequences for shouting their opinion, even if it's just being shunned by those who disagree, they scream their heads off that they are being censored, oppressed, and blacklisted. But they don't bat an eye about people rotting in Cuban prisons.

I've known she was a loony leftist for years, even though I've never seen one of her movies. I don't intend to, either. I don't even see her physical beauty. Liberal America-hating makes her ugly from the inside out.

Usually people this stupid have never been to a Communist country.

Or they've been but only go where their handlers take them. And then proclaim the people really are free.

Like my stupid BIL. My stupid, college-educated, BIL.

"THERON: No, but I do remember not too long ago some people getting fired from their jobs in television because they spoke up on how they felt about the war." Examples, please. I use to work in television and it was us conservatives who had to keep our mouths shut. I can't begin to tell you the crap I heard (often from yelling) coming out of the mouths from the higher ups I worked with. It was disgusting. I recall a black, female executive producer who found out I was conservative and she just wouldn't let up on me. I remember reading an article about one of the leads (don't remember) on one of the Law & Orders who said no Republicans were allowed on the set. I would love to know which Democrats were fired from shows for speaking their mind.

I really wish I hadn't read this. I could have lived out my life in the happy delusion that she was a gun toting, America loving, super-babe with a thing for dumpy guys that spend too much time on the internet and who only didn't love me because we she doesn't know about FR yet. Dang it!
