I'll answer that....I would be against the death penalty IF a life sentence meant a life sentence and IF leftists judges and crooked lawyers wouldn't weasel murderers and rapists and kidnappers out of jail.....

I actually perfer banishment instead of the DP.,....banishment would be long, cold, lonely with constant mental anquish, which is soothing to me in the case of people like Ted Bundy....

I agree, but you don't really address my question - in fact, you make my point stronger. With all of the problems in our legal system, including the ones you mentioned, how on Earth do you even trust them to come to the right decision in the first place? How do you know who's REALLY a rapist or murderer, versus somebody who's just been accused of being one? The death peanlty is irreversible, and I don't trust the judicial sytem not to make a mistake. Also, the idea of giving the state the power to kill just rubs me the wrong way.
