"What is yours?"
How about the *powers that be*, stepping back and looking at the real causes of this congestion.....overpopulation. At this point, Rick Perry and his band of merry men are willing to sacrifice the rights of current Texans for short term relief and a pocket full of cash. They want to build a highway, do it where it effects the least amount of folks and doesn't destroy valuable, productive lands in the process.

Plus, you don't have to take your shoes off and leave behind all your liquids when entering the highway.

..overpopulation Duh! And how do you suggest we address overpopulation? It never occurred to me to downsize San Antonio, Austin, Waco, and the greater Dallas area. You can run with the pocket full off cash if you proffer a better solution for all I care.

Alaska only allows a certain number of people to buy land there. Texas should do the same. Getting rid of the 1 or 2 million illegals would certainly make some more room on those freeways.
